23 years after its original release, the team at Urbanscan are bringing Hogs of War back to the big screen!
This is Urbanscan's first Kickstarter project, led by industry veteran and former CEO of Gremlin Interactive - Ian Stewart! Ian was a fantastic part of the SSG Hogs Of War campaign and a huge supporter of our board game work so we're delighted to be able to share this Hogs Of War videogame revamp with you.
Urbanscan has been working in Collaboration with Steel Minions Studio and the Hogs of War community to bring you a swine filled Kickstarter campaign! Its time to get knee deep in the trenches once again, grab that rifle and lob a grenade or two, we've got bacon to fry!

Hogs of War - The Final Update

Hello everybody,
This will be the last time we post an update on this campaign. We would once again like to thank each and every one of you that helped us see this project come to life.
FAQ:
We know you have been waiting for an updated FAQ and we have put one together for you here: Hogs of War: The Miniatures Game FAQ
If the hyperlink does not work you can still access the document by copying and pasting it into your browser address bar. We’ll also upload it to the files section on BoardGameGeek.
Translated Campaign Books:
Translated Campaign Books will be posted on BoardGameGeek as and when they can be completed. The German Campaign Book should be appearing on BGG in the next few days.
We appreciate there may be mistakes in this translation, we previously signed a translation studio to handle the work, but they delivered a product full of mistakes (twice).
We don’t have funds to source and then hire another studio to translate these books but if you speak fluent Spanish, French or Italian and would like to take a crack at it, please email [email protected] and we’ll be happy to send you the PSDs.
Reprints?
It is highly unlikely there will be future reprints of Hogs of War: The Miniatures Game.
The game was a real labour of love, and its manufacturing cost reflected the fan-homage nature of the final product. For a small studio of two people, we cut no corners and omitted no sculpts and even with the sale of our remaining stock to retailers, the project was a large financial loss- albeit a beautiful financial loss.
Thus, copies of Hogs Of War: The Miniatures Game out in the wild are the only ones and will likely remain the only ones.
Future FAQs / Rules Questions?
A week after this update goes out, we will no longer be checking the Kickstarter Comments Section or posting Kickstarter Updates.
Instead…
Dan, who joined us after our last campaign, will be checking in on the Boardgamegeek forum for Hogs Of War on a regular basis and will be able to answer any additional rules queries.

Hogs Shipping Update #12 - Fulfilment Almost Complete + New FAQ Coming

Hello everyone!
We hope you are well and have had a chance to play plenty of games of Hogs of War, hopefully the dice have been kind to you!
Fulfilment
As far as we know we are just about fully fulfilled, we have received confirmation of primary fulfilment being complete from all our shipping handlers now.
Zatu UK has been completed.
Surfin Meeple EU has been completed.
Funagain North America has been completed.
Australia and New Zealand were picked up by Aetherworks from VFI Asia in December, we've had confirmation from Aetherworks that these orders have now been shipped.
If you haven't received your pledge or are missing elements this will now be a mistake and not just a delayed pledge- get in touch with us on Kickstarter Messages or email [email protected] and we'll be happy to investigate and make sure you get your pledge.
FAQ's
The first Hogs Of War Miniatures Game FAQ was released a few months back, but we've seen a recent influx of questions in our email boxes and on Board Game Geek.
We will be putting together an updated FAQ over the next two weeks to answer those questions.
Please- if you have a rules question that has not been emailed to us or posted on BGG, pop it in the comments below and we will add it to the FAQ so that we can continue to make Hogs the best game it can be!

Hello everyone!
We hope 2022 has been kind to you and that you're ready for the holiday season! Let us know if any of you will be playing Hogs with the family over Christmas, we know Father Hogmas will want to see some carnage!
Australian and New Zealand backers:
We are aware that there have been continuing delays with Australian and New Zealand backers, we apologise for this delay and we'd like to confirm that we have been in regular contact with VFI Asia to get updates on the fulfilment of this project.
We have more recently been in direct contact with Aetherworks who are handling the final leg of fulfilment after we received confirmation from VFI that the stock allocated to Australia and New Zealand was dispatched on the 5th of November.
At time of writing (21/12/22) we have contacted them to make sure they have everything they need and are waiting on a reply.
The stock is with the final shipping handler for the AU / NZ region and Aetherworks have all the order and product information so fulfilment should start moving swiftly in the new year.
Thanks to all our backers for their patience and we hope you think its worth the wait when you get your copies!

Hogs is featuring in January's Issue of Tabletop Gaming Magazine- see pic below!
If you're a subscriber to the magazine, it will be arriving on your doorstep any day now. Otherwise- if you want to read their steller review, head down to your local newsagents to pick up a copy.
Christmas Office Hours:
The Stone Sword Games office will be closed from the 23rd of December to the 4th of January. Any emails or Kickstarter messages sent during this period will not likely be answered by the team until they've returned from their holidays.

Mini Update - German Hogs of War Rulebook PDF Update, North America + Funagain Fulfilment + VFI Asia Update

Good morning, afternoon and evening Backers,
Small update for you today!
German Rulebook Update:
Following feedback from German Backers, we went back to the German Translators we hired and updated the Rulebook for Hogs with corrections. Find the PDF here:

The Italian fix is on the way for next week.
North America + Funagain Fulfilment:
We've received an update from the FA team that the "Orders are all adjusted and the team is working on disassembling the core and deluxe boxes needed as well as assembling the pieces to create the deluxe card games."
We believe that the more complex missing orders should be shipping next week off the back of this Update.
We have also pushed on whether the missing Core Games have been dispatched yet but are awaiting a reply. (Please see the last update for what Funagain have said and pledged to deliver). I will chase Funagain again early next week for a response.
VFI Asia Update:
We've been told by backers in Singapore and east Asia that their orders have arrived.
VFI have told us that the deadline for all orders of Australian and New Zealand Backers being shipped is next week- so expect a shipping confirmation shortly if you haven't received one. I will be emailing VFI and keeping on them for getting these orders finally delivered.
